The Clearmax Phosphate Remover from Hagen is a scientific grade resin designed to adsorb phosphate, nitrite and nitrate. This results in crystal clear water, and reduces aquarium maintenance.

Contains three 5″x5″x1/2″ loosely packed bags of media that can fit in virtually any filter, any shape or size.
Directions: Rinse thoroughly before use to remove fine dust due to handling. Place directly into media basket.
Maintenance: Monthly change is recommended as exchange resins will no longer be active. Do not replace all filter media simultaneously. Stagger media replacement to ensure constant bacterial populations.
