This approximate 12 inch cube aquarium offers a pleasing balance of depth and overall size while creating captivating aquascapes in a small footprint. What truly sets this aquarium apart from the others is the included back filter compartment.

With a regular tank, a filter and heater can both be seen and distract from the beauty of the aquarium. Not in this case! The back filter hides all of that within the footprint of the tank, all you can see from the front is a black background. The 2.5″ filter extends the entire back of the tank and is divided into 3 sections that direct the water flow.

The first and second chamber maintain a water level of 6″. The first chamber is typically where you would put a heater, and the water from that chamber travels under the first bulkhead to come up from the bottom of the second chamber.

The second chamber is designed to house the filter media such as carbon, sponges, or floss.

The third and final chamber is designed to fit most popular models of nano pumps between 50-150 gph. The level in this chamber will fluctuate due to evaporation.

With the filter components all contained in the back of the tank you can truly have your aquascape contained in an approximate 12″ x 12″ footprint!
