Millions of micropores within each granule adsorb and lock in discoloration, noxious odors, dissolved contaminants, and hundreds of other chemicals such as chlorine, insecticides, and detergents. Our tests indicate that this quanitity is sufficient for four Bio-Bags under normal aquarium conditions. In larger or crowded aquariums, addtional Whisper Filter Carbon may be added.
