REEFER Concept
Red Sea’s REEFER™ series of Reef Systems provide advanced hobbyists with a solid foundation for building a fully featured reef or marine aquarium.
The REEFER G3 series combines a contemporary, rimless, ultra-clear glass aquarium with a stylish cabinet and a comprehensive water management system including a professional sump with integrated automatic top off system and Red Sea’s unique new and improved high-precision valve on the down flow pipe for easier flow regulation and near-silent operation.
The REEFER G3 series overflow box and pump outlets and plumbing:
• Dual side-facing return pump outlets for better water distribution (On REEFER 350 G3 models and bigger)
• Large central overflow box to hide piping, with a large surface skimmer with removable weir comb for easy cleaning
• Silent downflow system with enlarged rectangular inlet to reduce turbulence
• Assembly-ready piping now with extra bulkhead connectors in both Metric and USA sizes for customized setups
• All models will now be equipped with the revolutionary ReefATO+, and the entire range
• Hydrodynamic piping with Gate Valve

REEFER™ Specifications (All Models)
REEFER™ aquariums are constructed from thick, beveled-edge, ultra-clear glass to support their elegant and modern rimless design.
The aquarium sits on a recessed base that “floats” it above the cabinet, which seamlessly follows the contour of the glass.
Extra-fortified plywood marine-spec laminated cabinets (with additional aluminum “floating tank” supports on REEFER 625 G2 models and bigger)
REEFER™ Water Management System (All Models)
The comprehensive water management system provides the base for excellent water quality. Surface water from all sides of the aquarium is actively fed to the sump through the regulated silent flow down pipe.
Removable surface-skimming combs surround the top of the centrally located overflow box that houses the down pipe, sump return pipe and the discreet multi-directional “eyeball” return outlet nozzle.
In the event of a blockage in the regulated down pipe, an additional emergency overflow pipe provides an unrestricted free flow of aquarium water directly to the sump.
On entering the sump the water passes through micron filters and/or filter cups with your choice of media before flowing into the optional refugium and onto the skimmer chamber with an adjustable height outlet, making it suitable for all skimmers and other reactors.
In order to remove any air bubbles that may have escaped from the skimmer, the water passes through a bubble-stripping cascade on its way to the return pump chamber.
To ensure a constant water level in the pump compartment, all REEFER™ sumps include an integrated automatic freshwater top-up unit, guaranteeing a constant, stable water flow throughout the complete system. The 3-in-1 ReefATO+ included (reliable and smart ATO + temperature monitor + leak detector). (Reservoir is not included)
Supplied as a complete self-assembly kit, all pipe work is ready without the need for any gluing.
New and improved Refugium-Ready Sumps (All Models except REEFER™ 170 and Nano)
• An adjustable height skimmer chamber, enabling you to set the water level for optimal skimmer performance.
• A “Refugium Ready” sump with two pre-set positions allows you to decide how much of the sump you want for your skimmer and other reactors and how much as a dedicated refugium chamber.
Micron filter bags and filter cups
The ReefATO+ is an exceptionally reliable auto top-off system combined with a temperature monitor and external leak detector, and is the perfect smart device to introduce reef enthusiasts to the numerous advantages of the synchronized ReefBeat eco-system.

All REEFER G2 aquariums have included a standard 2-year warranty. +1 addition year when you register the tank. With the new G2 models, you can now purchase an additional 1-2 year warranty plan when registering your new system online. That’s a total of 5 years of worry-free protection!
